This costume might require most,
if not all:
 appliqué,
gem making,
 boot-covers,
 biasing,
creative patterning,
wig styling,
interfacing and painting. 

Cosplaying isn't just about sewing machines and needlework
If you want something more challenging just than sewing there are other ways around it if you want to make costumes! There are a number of disciplines are very common among cosplayers.
